For lovers of dramatic backdrops, desert locations and Spanish vibes, this bohemian Palm Springs wedding shoot photographed at The Pond Estate will fill your creative wedding ideas bucket hands down!
Set on twelve acres in the desert location of Palm Springs, California, The Pond Estate offers a diverse setting as a wedding venue come rain, hail or shine.
Photographer Caitlin of Cait & Co Photo captured the day in a warm photo journalistic style among the moody wet weather which the creative team attest to it turning out even better than expected. The bohemian styling incorporates a jazzed up natural palette with golden sprayed florals and brass finishes complemented by the natural tones of terracotta and sage greenery at every turn.
BRIDES WILL LOVE: The pampas grass floral chandelier, the brides floral back tattoo showing off the open back bohemian wedding dress by BHLDN and the geometric cake with gold brushstrokes giving it a modern twist.
Imagine your outdoor ceremony set up on the helipad, bridal portraits under the rendered arches and then sneaking off for an intimate moment together over the footbridge with the ever-changing San Jacinto mountain range in the background. Sounds perfect right?
Brianna from The Shoot Out Society said: “My vision for this styled wedding was to create something boho and modern that incorporated the Palm Spring feel of things. We played with the sun, golden light and crazy sunset and we were obsessed with the results. The afternoon drizzled and our entire group had some fun playing in the rain but the most epic part was a killer fog laid among the mountains in the background of all of the photos.
We chose this particular color scheme because the warm neutrals are similar with the Palm Springs vibe. By incorporating some macrame and velvet elements we were able to craft a bohemian look. This was a good opportunity to show brides that no matter rain or shine sometimes you will get amazing unexpected results even when the weather doesn’t cooperate exactly how you want it to.”
