We met in Orlando, Florida when we were in college and met at a college bar. When we started talking we realized we came from the same town and went to the same highschool only one year apart! We weren’t friends in highschool but realized we actually had a class together- it just took us moving to another city to officially meet! We started off as friends and neither of us could deny our attraction and feelings toward one another. When you were around us , wether you were close friends, family, or strangers you could tell our energy and love for one another was undeniable!
He took me on the 4 wheeler into the woods of his property in Rutland Vermont (our favorite place to be other then our hometown Clearwater Fl) during the summer of 2017. He had a blanket set up next to the creek and that’s where he asked me! It was so magical and intimate.
We had our ceremony on top of the Gerlach family’s new property in Chittenden, Vermont. It’ll always be a place we can go back to in the future and remember having all of our loved ones witness our vows during our incredible ceremony. The weather was gorgeous even though it was forecasted to be raining/snowing. Hopefully we will bring our future children to the exact spot some day!
Our first look inside of our green house was so serene. Just the two of us taking a moment to be alone before we officially committed and expressed our love to one another in front of our loved ones. The look on Jake's face when he saw me was priceless. I’ll cherish that moment forever.
