At any moment, the bride and groom look like they could jump into a cadillac and run away mid ceremony.” - Rachel, Autumn and Iris Photography. WE LOVE: The full black bridal gown by French Knot Couture, the delightful gold accents ranging from the invitations to the napkin rings set amongst the natural tones of timber and golden light that retracts from the scorched barren landscape beyond. The dark change of colours that occurs between August and November provided further inspiration for the shoot. The mystery that floats on the wind as the leaves turn and fall, as the night sky starts to darken early, and chimneys start to smoke. Rachel says: “I hope this shoot gives brides the excitement to deviate from what's traditional and forge their own paths for their big day. To know that they have the freedom to create and imagine anything they want for their wedding or elopement.” This shoot has left us feeling a true sense of freedom as we dream of running away to this quiet and serene landscape.
