If you can’t resist a little Southern charm, this elegant and whimsical wedding inspiration delivers a colorful twist that embodies a fun, country atmosphere. With character styling, big open fields and stunning bridal portraits, you’ll be totally inspired by this Southern wedding.
Created and hosted by Styled By Morrison Workshops and photographed by owner Brandy Morrison, we see real-life couple Jeana and Koll model as bride and groom at the stunning wedding venue The Farm at Ridgeway among the beautiful country setting.
You’ll adore the whimsical wedding styling and florals by XO Events & Co and Crisp Event Rentals that is fun and colorful. From the floral china and gold table décor to the confetti wedding cake by Cakes by Chandler. It’s almost like you were having a tea party with Alice in Wonderland on a gorgeous open-field farm.
WE LOVE: The family heirloom china used as the place settings for the tables which is a personalized touch you could adopt for your day.
Viewing the reception area, the magnificent stone fireplace creates an impressive backdrop to the vast space. The country vibe continues as we see glimpses of barn doors, chalkboard signs and wine barrels. The décor has been enhanced by using a color palette of gold and white accentuated by the splashes of color including greenery among the floral table centerpiece and blue table runner.
Moving through the photos, you'll be delighted by the charming bridal portraits photographed in the open fields. Seeing Jeana twirling in the dress make this Southern wedding every girls' dream.
WE LOVE: The bride's intricate veil graced by flowers that complements the styling and nature of the shoot.
The bride’s makeup by JM Artistry is flawless complementing her vintage lace dress from New York Bride and Groom of Columbia that features a vintage lace bodice with a plunging V-neck, which billowed out to a full tulle skirt. She looked every bit the belle of the ball.
The groom wore a tux also from New York Bride and Groom of Columbia, which was a bold cobalt blue. He wore a classic white bow-tie to complement the bride’s romantic dress.
Brandy Morrison adds: “These workshops are all about helping photographers grow, especially new photographers that are testing the waters in the wedding industry. We partner with several different vendors to create different segments of the day, so that creatives can participate in what feels like a real wedding setting. My workshops are meant to be hands on for photographers to get the most out of the experience. The next workshop will take place in Spring 2022 due to Covid-19.”
