Kelly + Andrew tied the knot on October 10th on top of a mountain in Truckee, Ca. I’ve been able to follow their love story for a while now, shooting their engagement pictures last December in San Francisco, and then their City Hall Wedding this past March. I was thrilled that I also got to be their wedding photographer up in the mountains too! Their wedding was at Sugar Bowl Ski Resort where the two of them and all their guests stayed for the weekend to party the weekend away. Kelly and her girls got ready overlooking the ceremony location sipping champagne and wearing flannel shirts (So cute!). I adored Kelly’s chic dress with a black sash, the perfect detail to complete their black and white wedding. Kelly + Andrew had their first look at Lake Mary, where Andrew got down on one knee and asked Kelly to be his forever, such a sweet location for that memory, and I’m so glad we got to re-visit it for wedding photos. Their ceremony has the most beautiful golden light overlooking the mountain, and then after all of the guests were ushered up the ski lift to cocktail hour up on top of the mountain! Their reception was made complete by live music, delicious desserts, and a special guest performance by Andrew himself on the bass guitar! (What a wedding memory!)
