Melbourne is famous for its four seasons in one day! And as such, it was a day we could experience with our lovely couple Rita and Terry. Having always had luck on our side with Melbourne's weather, this day was an exception as we had to deal with everything! Rain, wind, cold, warm, sun and a beautiful sunset - the endless changing weather conditions. We started the day with the preparation of the bride and groom, whilst it was pouring down from Melbourne’s sky. Rita was at the Pullmans Park Hotel in Albert Park, while Terry got ready at their apartment not too far away. Luckily we had planned our portrait shooting before the ceremony, as our bride got very delayed with the preparation. This did cut down the time available for the portrait photos. We started off with portraits in the hotel, before we decided to use the ordered Transformer Limousine to drive around Melbourne. Luckily our couple weren't water shy, so we did use our collection of umbrellas to take portraits at Melbourne’s Shrine of Remembrance and South Melbourne’s Town Hall. We really do like the outcome of these photos, showing that even the rain can’t stop us from taking nice photos for our couples. After our allocated time for portraits we drove to St. Peter & Paul’s Catholic Church in South Melbourne where we celebrated the ceremony of this young couple. Just as the ceremony finished, Melbourne welcomed them with beautiful sunshine as newlyweds. Using this nice weather, we finished our portrait session with the sunset at Albert Park, just in front of the reception venue “The Park”. We enjoyed a fun evening with them over a traditional Chinese banquet and we were entertained with their wonderful dancing! Overall, it was an absolutely amazing day as we kept up with everything Melbourne offered us. Whether it was sunshine or rain, it didn't matter.
