Welcome to Amicus Strings - Adelaide's accomplished, award-winning and highly acclaimed string quartet. We are an experienced, professional string quartet who specialise in playing music at church & garden wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, corporate events & functions, as well as performing numerous concerts each year. As a commercial quartet, we have appeared on television, recorded for numerous television commercials and provided background music for a short film. As individual musicians, we are classically trained to the highest degree and play in the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, the Adelaide Art Orchestra and in orchestras supporting numerous international and national artists. We have performed in the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, the Adelaide Festival of Arts, the Adelaide International Guitar Festival, other local music festivals and in many musicals. We have 20 years' experience in the wedding industry and are passionate about providing music that will create a magical touch to your special day. Our dedication and service to the wedding industry has been recognised with many awards in the Ceremony Music and Live Entertainment categories of the Australian Bridal Industry Awards for Excellence.
